2020 has been a year out of the ordinary. One characterized by crisis, insecurity and worry, and one that has had an enormous impact on not just our professional, but also our personal lives. That being said, it has also been a year of progress and one where we have seen new levels of compassion and unity as countries, governments, and societies around the world have come together to fight the global pandemic.
Closely monitoring the development
At Radiometer, we have had a continuous focus on monitoring the impact of COVID-19 in order to keep you and our colleagues safe and to ensure that we can maintain our deliveries. That is a responsibility that we take very seriously and that we will of course uphold as the pandemic develops.
The learnings that we gained in the early stages of the pandemic have served us well throughout the year and we continue to work closely with our suppliers to plan future deliveries.
Continuously supporting our global installed base
While we have taken a very careful and considerate approach throughout the entirety of the pandemic, we have not been immune to COVID-19 and we have had both colleagues and families impacted by the disease.
Despite of this, we continue to support our global installed base of products and to keep up our deliveries. We still have a special focus on safeguarding essential colleagues, who possess critical positions at our manufacturing facilities by continued work-from-home and intensified health and safety measures on-site, and our contingency planning allows us to swiftly introduce measures to counter for possible challenges caused by COVID-19.
I want to end by extending a big thank you for your partnership this year. It has been a special one, indeed. While we cannot predict the future, you can be rest assured that we will continue to follow the situation closely and do everything in our power to deliver our products.
